You can not call someone who is trying to catch a tiger with an ax, confident.
He is not confident but he is reckless because of his ignorance.
If he is scared of something, he might have wisdom and those who have wisdom can trap a tiger.
Even though he feels scared, he is just doing it with wisdom.We can call this confidence.
